ABOUT

Why choose ASCSA at USAMV Cluj-Napoca?

The Faculty of Agriculture of Cluj-Napoca, founded in 1869, represents the starting point for the later development of the University of Agricultural Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Cluj-Napoca, of which it is now an integral part. It has a long-standing tradition and rich experience in teaching and research.

The study program “Agriculture, Climate Change and Food Security” provides comprehensive, multidisciplinary training in the field of local rural development. It prepares qualified professionals for diverse careers: managers or development agents within LAGs, town halls, or NGOs, as well as in administrative structures at the county level (prefectures, county councils), regional and national agencies (such as ODRs), and even at government institutions (APIA, AFIR) or ministries (agriculture, education, environment, water and forests).
